Training
Following British Canoeing announced the launch of the NEW Leadership qualification that will be available from 4th January 2021. WithDave recognise the direct entry to assessments and that no formal British Canoeing Leadership training is required. Now that candidates will be responsible for making decisions about what preparation they need prior to assessment. WithDave would still like to offer the provision of a training and consolidation opportunity. As a British Canoeing Leadership Provider, we are well placed to offer the third party to check for readiness for assessment suggested by British Canoeing.

Under the NEW Leadership qualification, sea kayak leader is offered in the tidal and non tidal options. All sea leadership in the UK falls into the tidal award. We will be offering training and consolidation in the leadership skills, the personal paddling skills, and rescue skill to meet the assessment criteria of the NEW awards in their environments.
Each day we will meet ready to move you on from your CNTP course and explore the benefits of good venue choice and trip planning. We run our Sea Kayak Leader training courses at a variety of suitable venues around the UK to make sure that you get the most out of your training, in a venue to challenge your skills.
