Safeguarding training is a requirement of several national governing bodies for instructors, coaches, tutors, leaders and guides to ensure that they have the skills needed in order to provide a service that helps protect children, young people and adults at risk.
Our online courses are classified as face to face by most NGB’s including British Canoeing.

WithDave offers FAA Levels 1 and 3 Safeguarding training. These are certified courses.
Our courses are delivered by an experienced tutor with years of actual experience in safeguarding. Delivered as an interactive online course in small groups (max 8) recognised as a face to face course by NGB’s. It is delivered with an emphasis on a outdoor adventure activity environments.
Our level 1 Awareness of Safeguarding Online course meets minimum, face to face, required training for coaches, leaders, instructors and volunteers for many roles within British Canoeing. Following assessment this is an Ofqual regulated qualification.
Our Safeguarding courses provide a qualification and are not an attendance course. We provide a qualification that is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA). FAA are an Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual and the qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
