Sarah has 27 years’ experience as a teacher being a Senior teacher at a primary school for 12 years and has a BEd in Biological Sciences. Currently she works part time for a charity as their coordinator managing the volunteers and the charity governance.
She has a good background in taking learning outside with both science, maths and campcraft/woodlands skills. Sarah also has experience of working with DofE groups including those from inner city environments. She has led sessions in both archery and small-bore shooting and extensive experience of young person’s residentials as an instructor and as the responsible teacher. Sarah is the lead instructor for Safeguarding as well as delivering Paddlesport sessions.
She is a former competitive swimmer and now enjoys both canoeing and kayaking on her sit-on-top.
